This committee works with the Vice President of Fundraising to run the PTO fundraiser. Fundraiser ideas are discussed at board meetings and voted on by the executive board. Previous fundraisers have included discount cards and the Dolphin Dash.
This committee works with the school art teacher to plan Art night, which is an event held on campus where children can discover many different types of art. Stations are set up around Lake Whitney and the students can participate in them. Examples include henna art, wood burning art, music and different types of dance.
The purpose of this committee is to help plan a fun night for our children and their grandparents or special guest. Some of the duties consist of meeting as a committee once or twice. You will also need to be available for the night of the event.
Each year during winter holidays, the students have the opportunity to purchase gifts for their loved ones. The chair will purchase items within a preapproved price range. Committee members are needed to help set up the shoppe, as well as assist students with shopping, budgeting, and wrapping gifts.
This committee works together to serve breakfast to parents and their student one morning during the school year. The children love being able to spend that extra time with their parent or special guest before they head off to an exciting day of learning. This event happens 2 mornings during the year. Volunteers are needed to help serve our guests.
The carnival Committee puts together an amazing event which includes rides, games, pony rides, prizes, a teacher auction, food and more! It takes many volunteers to help make this event happen.
The sweetheart dance is a fun night where children and their special guest can dance the night away! A good time is had by all. The committee chooses a theme and food for the dance. The committee helps to decorate the hall for the guests to enjoy, as well as clean up after the event.
